Boosting One Health: Impact, Innovation, and the Path Forward
Final Meeting of the OH-BOOST Project

One Health is a holistic, interdisciplinary approach that emphasizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. It is essential for preventing, predicting, detecting, and responding to global health challenges.

In line with a strategic vision to the position Estonia as a leader in this field, the OH-BOOST project was launched to build research excellence, foster innovation, and strengthen international collaboration over three years. The project has been funded by the Horizon Europe programme. Through the OH-BOOST initiative, the Estonian University of Life Sciences and the University of Tartu have partnered with the University of Helsinki and the University of Milan to enhance institutional capacity and global visibility in the One Health domain.

As the local organizing partner of MOVE 2025, the Estonian University of Life Sciences is proud to host a satellite meeting showcasing the final outcomes of the OH-BOOST project. This event will specially feature highlights of the project’s achievements, insights into future directions, and the impact of cross-border collaboration in advancing One Health research.

This gathering will also offer an excellent opportunity for MOVE 2025 participants to explore the emerging role of extracellular vesicle research within the One Health framework, opening new avenues for scientific dialogue and innovation.
